Founded in 2019 by Sheree King, and with support of our advisory board comprised of leaders in medicine, business, ministry and education, Ribbons Physical Therapy, LLC is East Tennessee region’s only clinic that focuses exclusively on cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema treatment. We see this endeavor as our mission and we want to manage as servant leaders to our patients, staff and community.
Our team is built from like-minded specialized professionals who put patient’s health and well-being at the forefront of our practice. Our foundation is based upon three pillars: 1) To meet the unmet need for comprehensive cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema treatment in a safe environment where everyone looks the same and can focus on healing, 2) To develop a financially sustainable practice that creates jobs where people love what they do, feel like they are part of something bigger than themselves and can make a difference in the lives of our patients, and 3) Give back to the community through voluntary and philanthropic support to causes that benefit our patients and their medical providers.

According to Dr. English; “Milligan University’s Exercise Science (undergraduate) and Coaching and Sport Management (graduate) programs are very grateful for the gift of the new treadmill. The treadmill is a critical tool in courses such as Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology and Biomechanics as we teach students practical skills that they will employ out in the work force. In time, the treadmill will serve as a centerpiece in a Sport Science laboratory where we will conduct research and applied work that will benefit Milligan athletics.
